Hybrid.Care

Inspired by the effects of the tsunami disaster in 2004, we have dedicated both time and financial resources to social and environmental organisations actively working towards the greater good. We honour our employee’s commitment to volunteerism, support our local community and embrace corporate responsibility. We call it Hybrid.Care.

Here are some of the associations Keen Australia chooses to support.

Aust Zoo Logo

Australia Zoo

Australia Zoo on the Sunshine Coast QLD is nestled on over 70 acres of Australian bushland. With over a thousand gorgeous native and exotic animals, a line up of interactive animal encounters, an action packed 24-hour wildlife hospital and one amazing adventurous Zoo Crew; there is never a dull moment at Australia Zoo.

With 14 free wildlife shows daily, get hands on with cuddly koalas, waddling wombats, slithering snakes and cute kangaroos. Come face to face with majestic tigers, gorgeous elephants or leapin’ lemurs and get your photo taken with a baby alligator. Keen is a proud partner of Australia Zoo.

 Burnet Institute

Burnet Institute

The Burnet Institute is a unique not-for-profit independent Australian non-government organisation. It combines medical research in the laboratory and at a population level with public health action and advocacy to address major health issues of disadvantaged populations in Australia and communities in the developing world.

The Burnet Institute addresses the issues surrounding the treatment and prevention of many Infectious diseases as well as issues and treatments surrounding Maternal and Child Health and Young People’s Health.

Translating new knowledge into health practice is also a major focus of the extensive work with affected communities in Australia and many countries in the region.

Keen is a passionate supporter of the Burnet Institute.

 No Roads

No Roads

The Philosophy behind No Roads Expeditions is to provide travellers unique travel experiences, exploring the hidden wonders of the world but also giving back.

While No Roads provides quality holiday experiences they believe that travel is not a one way street. Much of the profit No Roads makes goes back to projects that they believe are worthwhile for the communities they work with. No Roads have been involved in these projects: Orangutans of Borneo, The Kokoda Track Foundation, Clothing for Porters in Tanzania, Footwear for Kokoda Porters, the Komodo Dragon and the International Porters Exchange Project.

No Roads and Keen Australia share the same belief that life needs to be lived in the great outdoors but we must also give back.
